So, the first part of the journey is over and I’m knackered.
I posted a few comments and pictures during the trip to Twitter via my mobiley phone, but I’ve discovered that the comments accompanying the images didn’t show up, they each just say “You have received a new message”, which sucks!
I figured I’d cobble together all the pictures/message I sent, in order, with the original captions. That way, should you care, you will have a better idea of what I was going on about!
(text messages in bold, messages that were meant to accompany photos in italics)

Mobiley phone acquired. Let Twitpicery commence! On the ferry to France. Yay!

Now in France. By way of proof, beaucoup de fromage!

Raining but warm, lightning seems likely. Electrical storms follow me everywhere I fear!

Just drove through Cuisery, a french Hay-On-Wye. Books FTW!

Arrived at port in Genoa. Are we in the right place? Who knows, absolute chaos!

Right place, wrong time ie seems. Everyone around us is headed to North Africa
(turned out to be the other way around)

Sitting in the heat, eating bonbonbonbons, wondering what the hell’s going on!

Finally onboard ship. “Ferry”=cargo ship, Grimaldi Lines=liars, Genoa port=epic, EPIC fail! Bollocks!

Off coast of Sicily, mobiley service back. Not much food on board, but sweet jebus it’s good!

There you have it. Now for a couple of days of intensive packing then I get to do most of it again in reverse!

Hello there, just a quicky.
I wanted to post this earlier but epic fail on the part of my (ex) webhost meant, until earlier today, I wasn’t sure if I’d still have a website to post to. Apparently I do though, so here it is.

Basically, as some of you know, I’m moving soon and phase one of that move involves a mini adventure which starts tomorrow.

It involves a lot of traveling in about six days. Basically, Malta->UK->France->Italy->Malta

During that time I won’t have access to the interwebs but hopefully I will, at some point, be able to post pictures to Twitter via some newfangled mobiley phone device.

While I do intend to post updates, it does rely on

a) Me seeing something worth updating
b) Me figuring out how to to it
c) Me remembering to do it

It’s a tall order, but you never know, it’s so crazy it might just work.

Anywho, wish me luck
